“Triangles look good too” Preview of Kia EV4’s elegant side design
The highly complete forecast for Kia's next-generation electric vehicle EV4 has been revealed, making it a hot topic. Kia EV4 is a long-tail style electric sedan concept car unveiled at ‘Kia EV Day’ held last October. Kia is known to be planning to launch a mass-produced model around 2025 based on the EV4 concept.
The EV4 side prediction, released by ‘New York Mammoth’, a YouTube channel specializing in new car predictions, was created based on the latest Kia design and the previously released EV4 concept car. It is characterized by a volume reminiscent of the Kia EV6, Kia's latest vertical lamp, and a geometric pattern wheel in the shape of a figure.
Kia EV5 is an electric sedan model one weight class lower than EV6. Overall, it has similar side lines to the EV6, but the long, sloping roof line is a unique feature of the EV4. Additionally, an auto-flush door handle considering aerodynamic performance was applied.
You can see that Kia's latest vertical lamps have been applied to the front part, which was previously revealed. It has a similar appearance to the concept car, but the application of small cube LED lamps makes it look closer to a mass-produced model. Considering that recently released electric vehicles are similar to concept car designs, the mass-produced model is unlikely to differ significantly from the expectations.
Netizens who saw the predictions expressed opinions such as “It’s cool,” “EV4 smells a bit like Cadillac,” and “Now the triangle seems to be a shape that shows a new car design.”
The interior of the previously revealed Kia EV4 is characterized by a wide field of view and a driver-oriented layout based on a horizontal structure. In addition, as an eco-friendly car, it presents sustainability by applying various eco-friendly materials.
The exact specifications and release date of Kia EV4 have not been determined. However, it is expected to be developed based on E-GMP, and will be released as a rear-wheel drive or AWD model depending on the specifications.
